I’ve taken the open source GPS cell phone tracker and rewrote it so that it works with Android cell phones. Since I wrote the original tracker, I’ve had many people who are not developers ask me how they can track their cell phone. So I created a website that allows people to do that. You can download the app from the Android Market by searching for MyCellTracker and then going to:
You can try the app free for 7 days and then subscribe for either $1.99/month or $19.95/year. Please give it a try and also click on the facebook like button if you would be so kind!

Hi,
I’ve recently downloaded the GPS Tracking software for my Blackberry. I’ve installed successfully and have tweaked the settings which include my own mobile number, the URL has been set to websmithing. When ‘Getting Map every 2 mins’ after this, I get the following error:
GPS.getLocation:
java.lang.NullPointerException
Any ideas at all please mate?
Bid Kudos for the Website and Info by the way, spot on!!
Cheers….
@Simon,
This is due to restriction from your phone OS (Blackberry OS) to use gps position data via gps tracker application. This can be solve via BB Settings..

Could this possibly work on the new Kindle Fire HD? Just got one and wondered.
Hey John. I’m not familiar with that model of kindle. It really depends if gps functionality is available to apps. The best thing to do would be to install GpsTracker on to the kindle and try it. I would also look into the kindle settings and see if you have gps there. If the kindle does not have gps, it might still work with wifi and cell but just not as accurately.
