You can put the folder anywhere on your hard drive. It really doesn't matter. once you have done that, then you need to open up the IIS admininstrator and create a virtual directory pointing to that folder. I would name that virutal directory GPSTracker.

ok I just continute this project again. Sorry I find this project kind it hard to understand, so reall need your instruction.  There are few part that I still haven't finsih yet.

1.for the web site part how I can set it up with domain name?, can I set it up for free. ?

2. As for the database where can Iget the management studio? " crearing a DB it is from the sql server right.

3.As for the phone part " you were mention about to get the application to your phone, but I not sure what phone application that you need to install into your phone. "move the whole folder to your phone?"" I download the netBean and I have recompile the file.And build the application but what should I do after? What are GPSR2,0jar and GPST2.0jad.? I get the emulator up, and I have set up the name for it, and . but how come in the http://www.websmithing.com/gpstracker/DisplayMap2.aspx didn't show my phone in the list as a router? am I suppose to change the http://www.websmithing.com/gpstracker/Googlemap2.aspx to http://www.websmithing.com/gpstracker/DisplayMap2.aspx? 

4.how i can browse the application with mine phone?. and the exmple link I found it doesn't woring "http://www.mywebsite.com/gpstracker/phone/
