My background is .NET development and I'm completely new to the Java environment, so predictably I'm having trouble opening the GPSTracker2.0 tracker project folder in Netbeans per the instructions in the Readme.txt file. I realize that I can simply install the pre-compiled version on my phone but am curious as to how the raw source code works so would love to see it in the IDE.
I downloaded the NetBeans IDE 6.1 mobility edition and installed it without trouble. I also downloaded and installed sun_java_wireless_toolkit-2_5_1-windows although the default location is c:\WTK2.5.1
When I open the Netbeans IDE 6.1 and attempt to open my project folder (C:\Users\aranieri.SENSKE\Desktop\GPSTrackerNet\Phone\GPSTracker2.0) the project name shows as "<unrecognized project; missing plug-in?>"
Any help would be very much appareciated.
